I am passionate about being able to support our team of midwives, lactation consultants and allied health practitioners – they all do such important work and to be able to support them is very rewarding.
I love getting to know clients over the course of their pregnancy to then meet their gorgeous little humans!
I love organising, and I absolutely love to help and support people. My role at MAMA helps me do both, and it feels so rewarding!
MAMA Midwives

Just as MAMA pioneered the first holistic private midwifery centre in Victoria, I believe our mentee program and sustainable midwifery model is the only one of its kind in Australia. I am looking towards the future of MAMA and private midwifery practice with gratitude.
To this day I remember my midwife and the impact she has had on my life- I want to be that support for other families.
I am passionate about creating a space where mothers and birthing people feel truly held, informed, and confident to make choices that are right for them.
I am passionate about women knowing their choices and feeling empowered to make the right decision for themselves.
I love witnessing families journey from our first appointment together, through their births and postpartum and seeing the incredible transformation that occurs. Not just for the woman/birthing person and their baby, but for those important to them.
Childbearing and child raising asks everything of you – physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. No one should have to navigate this time without love and care and guidance.
My most favourite thing about being a midwife is seeing the light in the eyes of empowered parents. Especially with breastfeeding! What an honour it is to be a part of this journey, and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
After having 3 very different birth experiences myself, I can appreciate the individual journeys other women embark and support them through their own.
I'm really passionate about individualised, relationship-based care. Taking the time to build genuine connections with women, birthing people, and their families.
Everything that I do at MAMA centres around the women that I care for and wanting them to have the most amazing experience.

Education
I had a sense, the way children do about things, that birth - and the bonds formed at birth - hold all the most important secrets about our world. I also sensed I would never be at my happiest unless worked with women and babies. I now know both of these to be true.
I love educating and talking to families about how to care for their families. I'm passionate about making the class realistic and actionable steps you can apply in your every day life.
Information on parenting is constantly evolving, and delivery of content will change depending on the participants who attend the class, and the current research.
I’m passionate about creating class content & organising workshops that inspire people to lead with curiosity and learn something new that hopefully brings them a sense of ease or excitement.
When women and families feel empowered, they’re more likely to report positive birth experiences and that’s what I want for every person I support.
I am particularly passionate about postnatal care and breastfeeding support, and love supporting families through the magic and challenges of the first 6 weeks postpartum.
Many of us come with deep-seated ideas about healthcare, the power of women, what family means, where we hold community, and how we love. My passion is to dovetail all those elements with evidence-based midwifery practice, and sometimes be a little goofy in the process.
I believe childbirth education is such an essential part of birthing people having an empowered and positive birth experience, so I feel excited and honoured to be a part of that knowledge sharing at MAMA.
Lactation
What I love most about my role is to support new families in the rollercoaster of (preparing for) postpartum. To give them knowledge, skills, hope and support, to achieve their goals and even more important to feel heard, seen and supported in this intense time.
I especially love facilitating some of the free feeding drop-in sessions that run twice weekly, they are such a great opportunity for women to seek some general advice and support from an IBCLC and meet other mothers.
There is so much in the traditional hospital and birthing system that is missing, misunderstood or stacked against the mother and I feel so lucky to be able to contribute to the evidence-based, women-centred practice at MAMA.
I am passionate about women knowing their choices and feeling empowered to make the right decision for themselves.
Allied (Kensington)
I have worked in the birth arena for over forty-five years, attending births, educating countless birthing women and their partners, also offering counselling and birth debriefing.
Treatment is not one-size-fits-all so I always take the time to learn where my patients are at to be able to provide individualised care.
I love helping parents, and when I see them come into the clinic a couple of months later and they look like parenting professionals, it's nice to think that maybe I had a hand in supporting their journey.
Building strong connections with my patients, contributing to their overall well-being and seeing the positive impact on their lives is what truly drives my passion as a chiropractor.
Yoga has greatly supported me throughout my pregnancies and into motherhood, and this, along with my experience as a teacher, energises a particular passion for holding space and educating women
Knowledge is power, and the more we know about our bodies (especially a part of our bodies that many have been taught to feel shame or embarrassment about) the more we can understand and use it to its full potential.
MAMA is special to me because it embodies a holistic, compassionate approach to maternal care; prioritising individualised support, whilst recognising that each woman's experience is unique.
I am passionate about the natural healing properties of essential oils and the ability to tailor my massage treatments to the individual.

Through MAMA, my dream is we can ensure all families can choose to have an empowering and supported journey into parenthood.
