Kelsey Crosling

I'm Kelsey Crosling (she/her), an Occupational Therapist supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum and the transition to motherhood.

What inspired you to work at Mama?

What inspired me to join MAMA was the way it brings together so many forms of support under one roof. I believe new mothers deserve more than isolated appointments—they deserve a village. MAMA has created a space where women can access nurturing, evidence-informed care from practitioners who genuinely collaborate and care about each family's unique experience. It felt like a place where my values and the way I want to support women naturally belong.

What are you passionate about at MAMA?

I'm passionate about supporting women through the transition to motherhood—not just helping them cope but helping them understand themselves during one of life's biggest identity shifts. I love combining practical strategies with emotional support, so women leave feeling more confident, connected and equipped for everyday life.

What are your favourite things about your role?

I love watching women begin to trust themselves again. Seeing someone move from feeling overwhelmed or unsure to finding confidence in their own way of mothering is incredibly rewarding. Every family's journey looks different, and I feel privileged to walk alongside women as they discover what works for them.

I'm a firm believer that there is no "perfect" way to parent. My goal is to help you discover what feels right for you and your family. Motherhood doesn't need fixing—it needs support.

Where would be find you outside of MAMA?

Outside of MAMA you'll usually find me with my three-year-old daughter exploring local playgrounds, heading out for a walk or run, or catching up with family and friends over good coffee. I love being outdoors and understand firsthand the beautiful, messy reality of raising young children.

Occupational Therapy for Mothers

Support that's centred around you.

Motherhood changes so much—your routines, relationships, identity and the way you move through each day. Whether you're preparing for your baby's arrival, adjusting to life after birth, or finding your feet in early parenthood, occupational therapy offers a space to pause, reflect and receive practical, personalised support.

Together, we'll explore what's feeling difficult, what's working well, and what matters most to you. My role is to help you build confidence, develop sustainable routines and find ways to care for yourself while caring for your family.

Support is always tailored to your unique circumstances, because there is no one "right" way to navigate motherhood.

Who this is for

These sessions may be right for you if you're:

  • Feeling overwhelmed by the transition to motherhood.
  • Looking for support with your emotional wellbeing during pregnancy or after birth.
  • Finding it difficult to balance your own needs with caring for your baby.
  • Wanting practical strategies to manage routines, sleep, feeding or everyday life.
  • Adjusting to changes in identity, relationships or returning to work.
  • Wanting support to strengthen your confidence as a parent.
  • Looking for a safe, non-judgemental space to talk things through.

You don't need to have everything figured out before you come. Sometimes the first step is simply having someone alongside you.

How we work together

Occupational therapy looks at the whole picture—not just how you're feeling emotionally, but how your daily life, environment, relationships and responsibilities are shaping your experience.

Sessions are collaborative, compassionate and practical. Together we'll identify what feels most important to you and develop strategies that fit your family, your values and your life.

Whether you need support for one specific challenge or ongoing care throughout pregnancy and early parenthood, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you.
