Annie Peters

My philosophy is fairly simple, your body, your baby, your birth. I am here to provide individualised, evidence-based care that aligns with your intuition and values.

I love supporting families during the antenatal period and see it as a valuable opportunity to prepare for both birth and the transition into parenthood.

Connecting with and supporting women and their families through such a significant and life-changing time is definitely a highlight of my role. Building trusting relationships and walking alongside families as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood is incredibly rewarding.

Many of us come with deep-seated ideas about healthcare, the power of women, what family means, where we hold community, and how we love. My passion is to dovetail all those elements with evidence-based midwifery practice, and sometimes be a little goofy in the process.

Aimee Lewis

Aimee’s approach is warm, individualised and evidence-informed, blending nutrition, herbal medicine and lifestyle support with compassionate, realistic care. She offers a calm, supportive space where clients feel listened to, held and gently guided through this chapter of life.

Grace Shaw

Grace's approach is gentle and intuitive, tailored to each client's individual needs and stage of pregnancy. She understands the physical and emotional changes that occur during pregnancy and postpartum, and works to provide comfort and relief through skilled, compassionate care.

Sharon Clarke

Sharon is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist with more than 23 years of experience, specialising in women's health since 2009. She is passionate about supporting women through all stages of life, including fertility journeys, pregnancy, postnatal recovery, menopause, and everything in between.

Dr. Katie Wood

Dr Katie Wood has been an osteopath for over 18 years. After graduating in 2006, she spent her early career in Sydney treating a diverse range of patients from football players to professional musicians.

Janine Shifman

Over time and through experience, I’ve discovered that this work needs longer sessions. Working with women in extended appointments, in the calm, professional, non-clinical space at Anara, helps them feel safe, heard, and supported. This is the space I’ve intentionally created so care can be unhurried and meaningful.
