Meet The Team - Melbourne

Just as MAMA pioneered the first holistic private midwifery centre in Victoria, I believe our mentee program and sustainable midwifery model is the only one of its kind in Australia.

Amy Burgess

I strongly align with MAMA’s model of care, and the genuine compassion MAMA has for both its team and its clients. I’m beyond excited to be part of a company that creates meaningful work for women and families.

India Spark

I’ve always been passionate about women’s reproductive health, fertility, and truly patient-focused care. I formed a genuine connection with the team’s values and the incredible care and love they show their clients and the families they help grow.

Harmony Norton

My favorite things about working at MAMA: getting to work with a wonderful team, and seeing new mums and their little ones.

Minoska Godinho

I love organising, and I absolutely love to help and support people. My role at MAMA helps me do both, and it feels so rewarding!

Meet The Team - Melbourne

Bethany Johns

I’m passionate about continuity of care and supporting women and families with personalised care, choice, respect and confidence throughout pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.

Annie Peters

My philosophy is fairly simple, your body, your baby, your birth. I am here to provide individualised, evidence-based care that aligns with your intuition and values.

Chloe Masloff

I love supporting families during the antenatal period and see it as a valuable opportunity to prepare for both birth and the transition into parenthood.

Anna Murray

Connecting with and supporting women and their families through such a significant and life-changing time is definitely a highlight of my role.

Ruth L’Huillier

I’m passionate about providing evidence-based care that supports choice and autonomy for women and birthing people.

Kelly Langford

Just as MAMA pioneered the first holistic private midwifery centre in Victoria, I believe our mentee program and sustainable midwifery model is the only one of its kind in Australia.

Amy Gillies

To this day I remember my midwife and the impact she has had on my life. I want to be that support for other families.

Ellie Madigan

My most favourite thing about being a midwife is seeing the light in the eyes of empowered parents. Especially with breastfeeding!

Olivia Paine

I’m really passionate about individualised, relationship-based care. Taking the time to build genuine connections with women and birthing people is what truly fills my cup.

Veronica Ingram

Everything that I do at MAMA centres around the women that I care for and wanting them to have the most amazing experience.

Education Team

Meet The Team - Melbourne

Rebecca Letts

Every birthing person has the right to feel safe and empowered when making decisions about their body and their baby, and I love supporting people to step into their power in this space!

Taylor Ferne-Morris

I’m passionate about supporting families to feel informed, confident and safe as they prepare for birth and early parenthood. I love helping people understand their options, trust their bodies, and feel empowered to make decisions that are right for them and their families.

Tess Wagner

Knowledge is power and it is so rewarding seeing families come through this education program with a greater insight and ability to advocate for themselves.

Seb Basserabie

Many of us come with deep-seated ideas about healthcare, the power of women, what family means, where we hold community, and how we love. My passion is to dovetail all those elements with evidence-based midwifery practice, and sometimes be a little goofy in the process.

Stella Tehan

I believe childbirth education is such an essential part of birthing people having an empowered and positive birth experience, so I feel excited and honoured to be a part of that knowledge sharing at MAMA.

Rachel Wilson

I am particularly passionate about postnatal care and breastfeeding support, and love supporting families through the magic and challenges of the first 6 weeks postpartum.

Abby Holmes

I had a sense, the way children do about things, that birth - and the bonds formed at birth - hold all the most important secrets about our world. I also sensed I would never be at my happiest unless worked with women and babies. I now know both of these to be true.

Hayley Nolan

I’m passionate about creating class content & organising workshops that inspire people to lead with curiosity and learn something new that hopefully brings them a sense of ease or excitement.

Rhiannon Kelly

I especially love facilitating some of the free feeding drop-in sessions that run twice weekly, they are such a great opportunity for women to seek some general advice and support from an IBCLC and meet other mothers.

Lactation Team

Meet The Team - Melbourne

Sarah Thijs Smit

What I love most about my role is to support new families in the rollercoaster of (preparing for) postpartum. To give them knowledge, skills, hope and support, to achieve their goals and even more important to feel heard, seen and supported in this intense time.

Rhiannon Kelly

Madison Sloan

There is so much in the traditional hospital and birthing system that is missing, misunderstood or stacked against the mother and I feel so lucky to be able to contribute to the evidence-based, women-centred practice at MAMA.

Kelsey Crosling

I'm Kelsey Crosling (she/her), an Occupational Therapist supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum and the transition to motherhood.

Lara Blumer

Providing support through pregnancy is a big passion of mine and I love sharing how acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can be supportive during this time.

Jessica Thatcher

Supporting someone through pregnancy, then checking their newborn, and continuing to care for them as they grow is truly special. Being part of families’ journeys at every age and stage is something I value deeply.

Rhea Dempsey

I have worked in the birth arena for over forty-five years, attending births, educating countless birthing women and their partners, also offering counselling and birth debriefing.

Anna Chanty Welsh

Treatment is not one-size-fits-all so I always take the time to learn where my patients are at to be able to provide individualised care.

Bonnie Maplestone

I love helping parents, and when I see them come into the clinic a couple of months later and they look like parenting professionals, it's nice to think that maybe I had a hand in supporting their journey.

Libby Crow

Knowledge is power, and the more we know about our bodies (especially a part of our bodies that many have been taught to feel shame or embarrassment about) the more we can understand and use it to its full potential.

Sonya Edmonds

I am passionate about the natural healing properties of essential oils and the ability to tailor my massage treatments to the individual.

Meet The Team - Melbourne

Aimee Lewis

Aimee’s approach is warm, individualised and evidence-informed, blending nutrition, herbal medicine and lifestyle support with compassionate, realistic care. She offers a calm, supportive space where clients feel listened to, held and gently guided through this chapter of life.

Grace Shaw

Grace's approach is gentle and intuitive, tailored to each client's individual needs and stage of pregnancy. She understands the physical and emotional changes that occur during pregnancy and postpartum, and works to provide comfort and relief through skilled, compassionate care.

Sharon Clarke

Sharon is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist with more than 23 years of experience, specialising in women's health since 2009. She is passionate about supporting women through all stages of life, including fertility journeys, pregnancy, postnatal recovery, menopause, and everything in between.

Dr. Katie Wood

Dr Katie Wood has been an osteopath for over 18 years. After graduating in 2006, she spent her early career in Sydney treating a diverse range of patients from football players to professional musicians.

Janine Shifman

Over time and through experience, I’ve discovered that this work needs longer sessions. Working with women in extended appointments, in the calm, professional, non-clinical space at Anara, helps them feel safe, heard, and supported. This is the space I’ve intentionally created so care can be unhurried and meaningful.
