Anna Murray

My name is Anna and I am a registered nurse and midwife, based at the Kensington clinic.

What inspired you to work at MAMA?

I was drawn to MAMA because of the unique opportunity to provide holistic, continuity of care for women in a warm and welcoming environment. The strong focus on supporting women and families through every stage perfectly aligns with my values as a midwife. MAMA’s blend of evidence-based care with genuine warmth and compassion is what really made me want to be part of the team.

What are you passionate about at MAMA?

I am passionate about working with families to tailor their care and preferences by listening to what is important to them. I believe that informed decision-making, guided by evidence-based knowledge, empowers women to feel confident, respected, and truly supported every step of the way.

What are your favourite things about your role?

Connecting with and supporting women and their families through such a significant and life-changing time is definitely a highlight of my role. Building trusting relationships and walking alongside families as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood is incredibly rewarding. Another highlight is the team at MAMA. The team is committed to supporting each other which creates a nurturing environment for both the people we work with and the families we care for.

Where would we find you outside of MAMA?

Anywhere outdoors with my three young boys, trying to use up some of their endless energy! When I have time to myself I love a coffee and a good book, or streaming something on TV. Catching a moment to connect with my husband or my friends always fills my cup. I used to be a travel agent, so exploring the world will always be in my bones, but it looks a little different now with a young family.
