My name is India and I am a receptionist at MAMA.

What inspired you to work at MAMA?

I’ve always been passionate about women’s reproductive health, fertility, and truly patient-focused care. While travelling, I came across MAMA and immediately felt drawn to the work they do. Through research and interviews, I formed a genuine connection with the team’s values and the incredible care and love they show their clients and the families they help grow.

What are you passionate about at MAMA?

MAMA’s biggest priority is making sure clients and their families feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their pregnancy journeys. Having completed an undergraduate degree in Science and now moving into postgraduate studies focused on reproductive health and clinical embryology, I really resonate with MAMA’s model of care. Creating a space where clients feel comfortable, safe, and supported is so important to me, and I love being part of an environment that truly prioritises that.

What are your favourite things about your role?

I love getting to interact with clients and their families, especially when they bring their new little ones in for visits! I also really enjoy working alongside the midwifery and allied health teams and learning as much as I can from them every day.

Where would we find you outside of MAMA?

Probably reading a book, playing netball or at a trivia night with friends :)
